LAUNCHING SPARTAN IN CHINA
THE CHALLENGE
To launch Spartan in China in spring 2017 despite more established obstacle events taking place in the country.
THE STRATEGY
Calacus worked with Spartan founder Joe De Sena to create a mini obstacle course in the centre of Shanghai to promote the launch, inviting media from across China to attend.
THE OUTCOME
The event attracted more than 50 media and sign-ups far exceeded initial targets, prompting organisers to plan more race events.
