PROMOTING STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® TO BRITISH SPORTS FANS

 

THE CHALLENGE

STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® is an international extreme sports competition series. Its roots lie in Australia and New Zealand as well as in Canada and the United States.

The world’s best athletes compete in national and international events featuring three axe disciplines and three sawing disciplines, competing against each other and the clock.

THE STRATEGY

Calacus focused on the drama and excitement of this adrenaline-pumped extreme sport, showcasing the skill and strength of the male and female competitors and the stories behind the athletes.

Calacus also promoted the TIMBERSPORTS® British Pro Championship, TIMBERSPORTS® British Rookie Championship and the TIMBERSPORTS® British Women’s Championship which took place at the Royal Three Counties Fair in Malvern.

THE OUTCOME

Calacus secured a wide range of coverage for STIHL, ranging from fitness publications, fitness influencers, local and national media, supporting training camps and events in the UK and abroad.

We far exceeded our coverage targets, bringing the world of TIMBERSPORTS® to a whole new audience.
